Job DescriptionSystem Analyst Location: Boise, ID Contract Details: With a high degree of latitude, the Systems Analyst 4 reviews business requirements, analyzes and evaluates existing and/or proposed systems and designs and develops IT system solutions in response. This role participates in and leads teams through work efforts which may include configuration, implementation of and on-going maintenance and support for production application systems with broad impact. Participates in identification and prioritization of work efforts with leaders and/or stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: • Must have Epic Tapestry Certification, • Build, configure, and program applications to meet user requirements for new and optimized workflows in designated software applications and systems, • Implement new software applications and systems, perform upgrades consistent with project plan(s), technical specifications, and operations requirements of the health system; provide proactive remediation of potential issues, • Identify and diagnose issues that arise in the supported application area as well as issues that impact other application teams, and work to resolve them; assess severity of issues and prioritize responses as appropriate, • Test and validate software applications and systems to ensure proper operation, implementation of software design and end-user acceptance, • Analyze clinical or operational workflows supported by the assigned products and their relationship to the technical environment in which they operate, • Assist in developing project plans and details; apply principles of Project Management (may include but not limited to: project schedules, agile principles, budget and status reports) to accomplish project objectives, • Ensure documentation is provided for support, end user training and testing/validation; may provide implementation support with end users, • Follow established protocols in the execution of all activities to ensure the safety and security of information system assets, processes, and data, • Possess expert knowledge in impacted areas; handle the most complex issues and problems across multiple platforms, • Coach and lead others in acquiring knowledge and provide expert advice; may serve as an evaluator of staff within the team; provide leadership, coaching and/or mentoring to a subordinate group; may act as a lead or supervisor, • Epic Tapestry Certification, • Building, configuring, and programming applications, • Software implementation and upgrades, • Issue identification, diagnosis, and resolution, • Software testing and validation, • Clinical or operational workflow analysis, • Project management principles including project schedules, agile principles, budget and status reports, • Documentation for support and end-user training, • Knowledge of information system security and data protection protocols, • Expert-level problem-solving across multiple platforms, • Leadership and coaching abilities, • Converse with others to express oneself and/or exchange information frequently (33% 66% of the time), • Fine motor skills needed for equipment operation frequently (33% 66% of the time), • Detect objects to identify proximity, depth and/or color continuously (over 66% of the time), • Position self to reach items in hard-to-reach areas occasionally (less than 33% of the time), • Perform repetitive movement with any part of the body frequently (33% 66% of the time), • Maintain stationary, static position continuously (over 66% of the time), • Move or traverse within the work space occasionally (less than 33% of the time), • Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans All employees are required to familiarize themselves and continually comply with all federal and state health care laws, regulations and rules (including Medicare and Medicaid billing requirements which are applicable to the employee's job duties).
