Job Description Field Technician / Working Lead — Philadelphia, PA Our small but growing team is looking for a hands-on leader who can build, repair, and troubleshoot just about anything—or at least know how to get the right subcontractor on-site to get the job done. We handle a wide range of work throughout the city, including apartment maintenance, homeowner repairs, full gut rehabs, and the occasional new construction project. Because all of our work is in Philadelphia, you’ll need to live in or near the city. You’ll be joining a solid team with two techs who have good foundational skills and are eager to learn. We’re looking for someone who can take the lead in the field and set the standard for quality and reliability. Compensation & Perks • Pay: $30–$40+/hour, generous paid time off, and occasional bonuses, • Company card for gas, • Perform and oversee apartment maintenance, including patching, painting, and general repairs, • Handle carpentry work, such as installing doors, windows, trim, and cabinets (proper flashing and waterproofing of doors and windows are a must), • Rehabs, basement finishes, and small residential projects, • Coordinate with and monitor subcontractors as well as handle specialty tasks on-site, • Troubleshoot repair issues and handle small plumbing, electrical, or HVAC fixes when possible What We’re Looking For • Strong carpentry skills, • General knowledge of multiple trades, • Basic power tools, • Truck or van (stipend and gas covered), • Great communication, problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude If this sounds like you, get in touch — let’s talk!
