Position Description: We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Water Team to improve the environment. The candidate must be a licensed PE with a bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering and seven+ years of related experience. The candidate should have experience working with various projects that may include water/wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, sewer overflow, collection and conveyance systems, distribution and transmission systems, storm water, hydrologic and hydraulic models, and/or other water resource projects. The candidate must also be self-motivated, work well with others, and have excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills. A flexible hybrid work schedule is available after 30 days of employment.Typical responsibilities include: • Attend client, public, project and staff meetings including client progress, plan review, pre-construction, etc., • Assist in the preparation of proposals, with/review scope, budget, and schedule of new project tasks, • Provide technical planning, biological process and mechanical design and construction support on various water and wastewater treatment and resource recovery projects. projects that may include collection system, pump station, stormwater, hydrologic and hydraulic models and/or other water and wastewater projects, • Prepare engineering calculations, run process models (i.e. Excel spreadsheet, Biowin, GPS-X, etc.) and support analysis of alternatives., • Utilize effective technical writing skills to prepare technical memoranda to document alternative analyses, basis of design, business case evaluations, P&ID reports etc., • Prepare design reports and construction plans for treatment plants and pump stations using local and state standards, • Prepare/assist with specifications and permit submittals, • Monitor task budget and progress, • Document design changes and communications, • Conduct on-site inspections and technical guidance for start-up as needed, • Prepare project status and other reports, • Maintain excellent client relations, • Maintain a safe working environmentEducation:, • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental EngineeringSkills/Experience:, • 7+ years of related experience required, • Licensed Professional Engineer required, • Experience working with various projects that may include water/wastewater treatment plants, pump station, sewer overflow, collection and conveyance systems, distribution and transmission systems, storm water, hydrologic and hydraulic models and/or other water resource projects, • Experience developing detailed design plans for treatment projects, • Expertise in more than one area of conventional activated sludge wastewater treatment liquid and solid processes including fundamentals of nitrification and denitrification systems, chemical or biological phosphorous removal, secondary and tertiary treatment including high rate disinfection systems, solids handling and biosolids treatment, • Experience in assisting with sales efforts for large scale projects
