Job DescriptionJob Title: Applications ChemistPosition Overview Our client is seeking a motivated and technically skilled Applications Chemist to support the development, testing, and optimization of applications for analytical instrumentation products. This role is responsible for developing new applications, supporting testing activities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product performance, reliability, and end-user satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess a strong scientific experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative and innovation-focused environment. Responsibilities Applications Chemist responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Develop and optimize applications for analytical instrumentation products., • Test instrumentation hardware, software, and applications during product development and ongoing improvement activities., • Perform sample testing and provide application support, effectively communicating technical findings and recommendations., • Collaborate with engineering, product, and scientific teams to identify and communicate application, hardware, or software-related issues., • Support the preparation and testing of instrumentation prior to deployment or shipment as needed., • Accurately document application development activities, testing results, and technical observations., • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to internal and external stakeholders., • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support additional technical responsibilities as expertise expands., • Travel as needed to support business and operational requirements.Qualifications, • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline required., • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills., • Creative and innovative mindset with the ability to think independently and adapt to changing priorities., • Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision., • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills., • Ability to collaborate successfully in a team-oriented environment., • Laboratory and analytical instrumentation experience preferred., • Demonstrated willingness to expand technical knowledge and take on increased responsibilities over time.Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
