The nurse is responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, administering medications, and coordinating with healthcare teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. Requirements: WHAT WILL BE YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES? • Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments, • Develop individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, • Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, • Monitor patient condition and respond to changes in status, • Document all patients care accurately and in a timely manner in the electronic health record (EHR), • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions, • Maintain infection control and patient safety standards, • Participate in care team meetings and interdisciplinary rounds, • Supervise and delegate tasks to LPNs, nursing assistants, and other support staff as appropriate, • Adhere to hospital or facility policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations · Current and valid license in the state of ND, SD (MN also preferred) · BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS, PALS, or other specialty certifications as needed · Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills · Proficiency with EHR systems and common clinical equipment
