Job DescriptionJob Title: Shipping and Receiving Specialist Job Description The Shipping and Receiving Specialist fulfills customer orders, manages incoming and outgoing shipments, and maintains accurate inventory records using Excel and an MRP system. This role requires regular communication with internal teams and external customers regarding order status, as well as occasional deliveries to local customer sites. Responsibilities • Fulfill customer orders accurately and on time., • Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, including preparing, labeling, and organizing materials for delivery., • Maintain accurate inventory records using Microsoft Excel and an MRP/ERP system., • Monitor inventory levels and update system records promptly after receipts, issues, and transfers., • Communicate order and shipment status via email with clients and internal personnel in a clear and timely manner., • Coordinate and perform deliveries to local customer sites, including TSMC and Intel locations, as needed., • Use pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment to move, stage, and load materials safely., • Verify shipment contents against documentation to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies., • Support general warehouse organization, including maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly work area., • Collaborate closely with a small warehouse team to meet daily shipping, receiving, and delivery deadlines.Essential Skills, • At least 1 year of experience in shipping and receiving., • Hands-on experience with an MRP or ERP system for inventory and order management., • Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Excel for tracking and updating inventory data., • Practical knowledge of inventory control processes and documentation., • Ability to handle shipping and receiving tasks, including preparing and processing shipments., • Experience using a pallet jack in a warehouse environment., • Ability to manage multiple orders and shipments while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail., • Strong written communication skills for professional email correspondence with clients and internal teams., • Reliability and punctuality to support a consistent 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. schedule.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Experience with international shipping, including documentation and customs requirements, is preferred., • Experience operating a pallet jack or lift is preferred., • Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and safe material handling is beneficial., • Ability to adapt to changing delivery schedules and priorities., • Comfort working both independently and as part of a small, collaborative team.Why Work Here? Work Environment This role is based in a small warehouse environment in Tempe, Arizona, working closely with two other team members. The standard schedule is 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with occasional need to work slightly later depending on delivery schedules. Work involves typical warehouse activities such as moving materials with a pallet jack, organizing inventory, and preparing shipments. The position is based at the Tempe facility, with occasional support required at nearby Intel and TSMC sites, commuting from the main Tempe location. The environment emphasizes teamwork, safety, and efficient, accurate handling of materials and documentation. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tempe, AZ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
