Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support day-to-day accounting operations for a company located in Greensboro, NC. This is a contract position ideal for an accounting professional with 2-3 years of experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and supporting both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions. Key Responsibilities • Perform routine accounting and clerical tasks to support the finance team, • Process and code Accounts Payable invoices and assist with vendor inquiries, • Support Accounts Receivable, including invoicing, cash applications, and aging reports, • Reconcile accounts, credit cards, and expense reports, • Assist with month-end close, including journal entries and account reconciliations, • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity, • Utilize accounting systems and Excel to track, analyze, and report financial data, • Communicate with internal departments and external vendors as neededQualifications, • 2-3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, • Strong working knowledge of AP/AR processes, • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general accounting software, • High attention to detail and accuracy, • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines, • Strong communication and organizational skillsPay Details: $22.00 to $26.00 per hour Search managed by: Samantha Garman Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
