Job Description Account Setup Coordinator Location: Minneapolis, MN Worksite: Minneapolis, MN 55402 Contract: 5 Months Pay Rate: $17–$20/hour on W-2 Work Arrangement: Hybrid Training: First 2–4 weeks fully onsite After Training: 3 days onsite per week — Tuesday through Thursday Position Overview We are seeking an Account Setup Coordinator to support a high-volume, back-office account and product setup operation in Minneapolis. This position is primarily focused on data entry, data validation, Excel file processing, and completing a high volume of requests accurately and efficiently. The role is not customer-facing and does not require direct interaction with clients. The successful candidate will work independently to process assigned requests, manage a queue of work, identify discrepancies or missing information, and ensure requests are completed accurately within required timelines. Key Responsibilities • Process a high volume of account/product setup requests., • Perform accurate manual data entry into internal processing systems., • Review and validate information before processing., • Upload and process Excel files through internal tools., • Identify missing, conflicting, or inaccurate information and take appropriate action., • Review documentation and data for completeness and accuracy., • Manage a daily queue of requests and prioritize work effectively., • Complete assigned work within daily deadlines., • Maintain a high level of accuracy while working at a consistent pace., • Use critical thinking to understand discrepancies and determine appropriate next steps., • Troubleshoot routine processing issues and resolve data-related problems., • Work independently after completing training., • Follow established procedures, controls, and processing requirements. Required Qualifications • High School Diploma or equivalent., • Previous data entry or data processing experience., • Intermediate-level Microsoft Excel skills., • Strong attention to detail and accuracy., • Ability to work with a high volume of requests., • Ability to manage and prioritize a queue of work., • Strong organizational and time-management skills., • Ability to work independently and meet daily productivity expectations., • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Preferred Qualifications • Banking or financial services experience., • Mortgage processing experience., • Claims processing experience., • Experience in banking operations or back-office operations., • Experience working with large Excel files or data uploads., • Previous experience in a high-volume transaction processing environment. Important Considerations This is a high-volume processing role. The ideal candidate should be comfortable performing repetitive data-entry and validation tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Success in this role requires the ability to balance speed, accuracy, attention to detail, and productivity while independently working through a queue of requests.
