Job DescriptionCare Coordination Supervisor Best Point Education & Behavioral Health – Cincinnati, OH Position Summary The Care Coordination Supervisor provides clinical and administrative oversight to assigned care coordination staff, ensuring high-quality delivery of mental health services to children, youth, and families. This role is responsible for staff development, compliance monitoring, service excellence, and cross-system collaboration. The Supervisor also supports recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing coaching while maintaining a small direct-service caseload as needed. Qualifications • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field., • State of Ohio licensure required: LSW, LPC, or MFT., • Independent licensure preferred: LISW, LPCC, IMFT, or Licensed Psychologist., • Minimum 3 years of post-graduate clinical experience required., • Supervisory or clinical leadership experience strongly preferred., • Valid Ohio driver’s license, reliable vehicle, insurance, and acceptable driving record., • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervision & Staff Development, • Provide day-to-day oversight of care coordination services delivered in homes, schools, and community settings., • Deliver weekly clinical supervision following OMHAS, CARF, and agency standards., • Support clinical skill-building, professional development, and performance management for staff., • Participate in interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training of new staff., • Foster a culture of ethical practice, integrity, and excellence.Administrative Oversight, • Ensure compliance with all service, operational, and documentation standards., • Conduct regular chart reviews to meet agency, regulatory, and financial audit requirements., • Monitor and support staff time management, caseload expectations, and productivity targets., • Maintain knowledge of agency policies and regulatory guidelines.Internal & External Collaboration, • Build effective working relationships across departments and with community partners., • Promote open communication, teamwork, and customer service excellence., • Ensure staff collaborate with schools, provider agencies, and treatment teams to support client success.Client Services, • Provide assessments, care coordination, and behavioral health consultation as needed., • Support staff caseloads, assist with intakes, and maintain service quality., • Review client progress and support transition planning at discharge.Quality Assurance, • Promote best-practice, family-centered service delivery., • Identify and address quality concerns; implement improvement strategies., • Ensure staff meet training and licensure requirements.Fiscal Responsibility, • Assist the Program Manager with budget development and monitoring., • Support staff understanding of revenue generation, productivity expectations, and expense management., • Help drive program growth and development. Work Environment: Exposed to a combination of office, school and mental health treatment environments. Exposed to children with behavior problems. May be exposed to shouting and clients who may be verbally and physically aggressive. May be exposed to blood or vomit and bodily fluids. May be exposed to unclean environments and unfamiliar areas of town.
