Job Description Zara Homecare is hiring a Caregiver Manager to oversee caregiver performance, training, coverage, compliance, and day-to-day field operations. This role ensures caregivers deliver safe, consistent, and person-centered care that aligns with Oregon Administrative Rules for in-home care agencies. You will supervise caregiving staff, coordinate with administrative leaders, support case managers, and maintain high standards of client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities · Supervise, support, and coach caregivers to ensure high-quality care delivery; implement corrective actions as needed in collaboration with HR. · Conduct in-home supervisory visits and performance evaluations in compliance with OAR requirements and agency standards. · Ensure care aligns with each client’s Service Plan, addressing ADL/IADL needs and adhering to all agency policies and procedures. · Maintain caregiver compliance by overseeing training, competency assessments, and accurate documentation. · Manage staffing and coverage issues: respond promptly to call-outs, coordinate replacements, and prevent service interruptions. · Ensure all documentation required for nursing delegations is complete, accurate, and compliant with regulatory standards. Collaborate closely with the Nurse and Client Care Coordinator to schedule and coordinate nursing delegations for clients and caregivers, ensuring timely execution and adherence to protocols. · Match clients with caregivers and create effective schedules that meet client needs and optimize caregiver availability. · Participate in incident investigations, safety reviews, and quality improvement initiatives to uphold client safety and service excellence. · Collaborate with the Administrator, Client Care Coordinator, Nurse, and HR on service trainings, compliance audits, and organizational events. · Communicate professionally and consistently with clients, families, caregivers, and case managers to foster trust and transparency. · Monitor and track performance concerns, attendance, call logs, and follow-up actions using agency systems and reporting tools. · Support onboarding and ongoing skill development for all caregivers to promote continuous growth and competency. Minimum Requirements · At least 2 years of supervisory experience in home care, healthcare, or related direct-care settings. · At least 3 years of experience working as a Caregiver or DSP. · Strong understanding of caregiver duties, ADLs/IADLs, and in-home care operations. · Must meet Oregon Administrative Rules for supervising unlicensed caregivers. · Experience conducting field supervision, evaluations, or caregiver training. · Ability to document accurately, follow regulatory standards, and uphold agency policy. · Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, ability to travel for home visits. · Strong communication skills and professional boundaries. · Preferred Qualifications o CNA, LPN, or experience with Medicaid clients. o Familiarity with OAR 411-060 and agency compliance requirements. o Experience in scheduling, coaching, or quality assurance. · Work Schedule · Full-time, generally Monday through Friday, with some availability during emergencies. All Admin Staff are required to be on call alternatively
