Salary: $180,000 - $275,000 per year A bit about us: We’re a large, nationwide hospital system with a broad footprint across the U.S. We’re adding an in-house Healthcare Transactions Attorney to support the deal flow and strategic partnerships that keep our organization growing—everything from provider and vendor arrangements to joint ventures, acquisitions, affiliations, and other complex commercial transactions. This is a high-visibility role working closely with executive leadership, operational stakeholders, and outside counsel, with a strong emphasis on practical, business-forward legal advice in a highly regulated environment. Why join us? • Growing hospital system, • Great team, • Sophisticated work Job Details What You’ll Do • Lead and manage healthcare transactions from intake through close, including structuring, drafting, negotiating, and advising on risk., • Draft and negotiate a wide range of agreements, such as MSAs, SOWs, service and professional services agreements, strategic partnership agreements, JV/affiliation agreements, managed services, and other complex commercial contracts., • Support M&A-related workstreams and integrations, including diligence, deal documentation support, and post-close contract transitions., • Provide regulatory issue-spotting and guidance tied to healthcare transactions (e.g., Stark, Anti-Kickback, HIPAA/Privacy, Medicare/Medicaid considerations), partnering with compliance and specialty counsel as needed., • Collaborate with supply chain, IT, revenue cycle, clinical leadership, finance, and business development teams to keep deals moving efficiently., • Develop playbooks, templates, and contracting processes to improve cycle time, consistency, and risk management across the enterprise., • JD and active bar license (in good standing)., • 6+ years of experience in healthcare transactions and/or hospital-focused corporate/M&A work (mix of law firm and in-house experience welcomed)., • Strong drafting and negotiation skills with proven experience handling complex deals with multiple stakeholders., • Working knowledge of key healthcare regulatory frameworks impacting transactions (Stark, Anti-Kickback, HIPAA/Privacy, reimbursement-related concepts)., • Practical judgment and the ability to balance risk and business needs in a fast-paced environment., • Comfort working cross-functionally and communicating clearly with non-legal partners and senior leadership., • Experience supporting hospital systems, health systems, physician groups, MSOs, payors, digital health, or other healthcare services organizations., • Experience with joint ventures, provider alignment strategies, clinical service line arrangements, value-based arrangements, or complex vendor relationships (including health IT)., • Familiarity with procurement/supply chain contracting, data/security terms, and enterprise technology transactions., • Broad, enterprise-wide exposure with meaningful impact on strategic initiatives., • High level of collaboration with business leadership and operational teams., • A seat at the table for complex, high-value deals in a mission-driven organization.
