Duties & Responsibilities • Perform detailed quality inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products using established procedures and specifications., • Utilize a variety of precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and optical comparators, for accurate dimensional measurement., • Document inspection results thoroughly, maintaining accurate records, and generating comprehensive quality reports., • Identify and document non-conforming materials or products, initiating corrective action requests and collaborating with production teams to resolve issues., • Conduct first article inspections (FAI) and in-process checks to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and quality standards., • Assist in the calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability., • Participate in root cause analysis for quality defects and contribute to the implementation of preventive and corrective actions., • Apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques to monitor and improve product quality and process stability., • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to uphold quality standards throughout the product lifecycle., • Competitive Salary Range: $58,000 - $82,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Qualifications & Requirements, • High school diploma or equivalent., • 1-2 years of experience in quality control, manufacturing, or a related engineering field., • Demonstrated proficiency in using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges., • Ability to accurately read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications., • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes., • Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)., • Basic computer proficiency, including experience with data entry and generating reports (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)., • Excellent attention to detail and strong observational skills for defect identification., • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic engineering and manufacturing environment., • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation. Preferred Qualifications, • Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., Quality Assurance, Engineering Technology)., • Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) software., • Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards., • Prior experience in aerospace, medical device, or similar high-precision manufacturing industries., • Familiarity with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) operation or programming.
