Responsibilities: · Manage all phases of fire sprinkler system installation projects (commercial, industrial, residential). · Coordinate with design teams, field crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors. · Review project specifications, drawings, and proposals to determine time frame, budget, procedures, staffing, and project requirements. · Prepare and monitor project schedules, budgets, change orders, and submittals. · Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and in compliance with local, state, and NFPA codes. · Conduct regular site visits and meetings to track progress and resolve issues. · Communicate project expectations clearly to team members and stakeholders. · Maintain thorough project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and job cost tracking. · Provide leadership, motivation, and support to field staff. · Ensure safety practices are enforced on all job sites. Requirements Knowledge, Skill & Other Requirements: · Strong project management and organizational skills. · Effective verbal and written communication. · Critical thinking and problem-solving. · Leadership and team coordination. · Customer service orientation. · Attention to detail and ability to multitask. · Minimum 3–5 years of experience in fire sprinkler system project management. · Working knowledge of NFPA standards (especially NFPA 13, 14, 20, and 25), local building codes, and fire department regulations. · Familiarity with hydraulic calculations, system design, and installation methods. · Proficiency with project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam). · Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical specifications. · Experience with estimating, budgeting, and job costing preferred. · NICET certification (Level II or higher in Water-Based Systems Layout) is highly desirable. · Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is a plus. · Project Management training or PMP certification is a plus.
