(WSFSSH) is a community‐based organization whose mission is to provide safe, affordable housing with supportive services within a residential setting which enhances the independence and dignity of each person. WSFSSH develops, manages, and provides housing for low‐ income older persons, many of whom live with mental illness and/or have experienced homelessness. Position Description Under the direct supervision of the Property Manager, the superintendent is responsible for ensuring the overall maintenance functionality and cleanliness of the property while supervising housekeeping staff to ensure all units and common areas are kept in pristine condition for residents and staff. This individual will ensure the landlord maintains all building systems in working order and is responsible for ensuring the facility meets all building compliance requirements as defined by DOB, HPD, FDNY and other government authorities, while also required to be on-call 24-hours a day, 7-days per week for emergencies during off hours and report to the property management. Job Description After-school Program Director - COMPASS Elementary COMPASS Elementary Program Director The Program Director is responsible for the oversight of an elementary school-based afterschool program. The Senior Supervisor will supervise janitorial supervisors and cleaning crews assigned to various locations. The Supervisor will assist the Operations Manager in overseeing the cleaning operations for janitorial contracts, throughout the metropolitan area that includes various locations, day, night, and weekend shifts, all depending on operational needs. Essential Functions: • Facilitates training for supervisors, lead workers, and cleaning crews; interacts with customer base to address janitorial concerns/ issues or additional requests for detailed cleaning and floor care jobs., • Provide weekly inspection and operation reports., • Conducts follow-up meetings and reports on all service requests and issues., • Identifies and communicates opportunities for additional cleaning services to the Operations Managers and Director of Facilities Management., • Manage staff schedules and cover shifts at various site locations as needed., • Provide shift coverage as needed, including but not limited to personally, covering shift(s), changes in work location or shift to accommodate last-minute emergencies, coverages of sites, and/or any other Facilities Management operational needs., • Perform other duties as assigned. Job Description Westchester Reform Temple [WRT] is an established house of worship located in Scarsdale, New York, and serves over 1,000 households as members of the congregation. WRT operates two buildings on its campus, is active 7 days-a-week, and provides a wide variety of activities through regular worship services, special celebrations and events, life-cycle events, after-school classes, pre-school classes and adult education opportunities. This full-time position reports to the Facilities Manager, and must also work closely with senior staff. The utmost courtesy and calm professionalism are expected at all times, in every interaction with supervisors, coworkers, community participants and outside vendors. This role includes late shifts on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, a long day on Friday, and Saturday mornings (off on Sunday and Monday). Special events, monthly meetings and Jewish holidays will change this schedule often. Summer months will also have a different shift schedule.
