Job Description Location: Stockton, CA Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM Compensation: $16.50 – $19.00 per hour (DOE) Hiring Through: Balance Staffing About the Company Balance Staffing is hiring an Inventory Clerk for a reputable logistics company in Stockton, CA. Position Summary The Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, verifying product movements, and supporting warehouse operations to ensure smooth logistics flow. The ideal candidate has at least two years of inventory control or warehouse experience, with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Forklift experience is strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities • Perform daily inventory audits and maintain accurate counts in the system., • Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against packing lists and records., • Identify and reconcile discrepancies in inventory data., • Support cycle counts and assist with variance investigations., • Safely operate warehouse equipment (forklift or pallet jack)., • Maintain clean, organized inventory areas with proper labeling., • Work collaboratively with warehouse and shipping teams to meet deadlines., • Follow company safety policies and standard operating procedures. Qualifications • Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse, or logistics (required)., • Forklift experience strongly preferred (certification a plus)., • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry., • Strong communication and teamwork skills., • Basic computer proficiency (Excel, WMS, or data entry systems)., • Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
