Job Description Position Overview The Electrical Engineer III at Aqua-Chem will be responsible for executing and/or overseeing the design, development, and testing of electrical systems and components, for skid-mounted water treatment process equipment and/or field installed wastewater treatment equipment. Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Location: Knoxville, TN | On-Site Pay Range: Dependent on Experience | $98,000 - $135,000 Benefits: Group Medical, Dental Vision, 401(k) Match, Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, and Paid Sick Time. +Employer Paid Benefits: STD, LTD, Life AD&D Essential Duties: • Assists in preparing electrical diagrams, panel drawings, electrical installation drawings, and functional diagrams as well as incorporating changes to drawings., • Work with and assist technicians, application engineers, project managers, and aftermarket sales with electrical design, calculations, spec reviewal, and hardware specification., • Provides customer support, verifying that design and installation conform to customer requirements., • Provides direction to Electrical Designers and Drafters to ensure meeting all customer specifications and all applicable electrical design codes, both domestic and international when required, including the design of control and power panels in accordance with UL508A., • Attending project meetings as the project Electrical Lead., • Handle responsibilities with effective interpersonal skills and to effectively interface with others inside and outside the engineering department., • Approve drawings/BOMs per established procedures with input from sketches, calculations, specifications, etc., • Monitors and ensures design work and documents are correct, consistent with applicable codes, logically presented and constructible, • When responsible for work, stamps required project documents as a PE, • Checking the work of other Engineers, designers, and drafters, • Provide mentoring and training of other Engineers, designers, and drafters, • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an ABET accredited college/university, • Professional Engineer registration strongly preferred or ability to sit for exam within 3 to 6 months.
