We are a thriving primary care and holistic medicine practice in Dallas, Texas seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and dependable Medical Receptionist to join our collaborative team. Your Future Role In this role, you will support clinical operations by collecting and preparing test samples, maintaining accurate and confidential patient records, explaining routine medical procedures, and assisting providers with basic clinical examinations. You will also serve as the welcoming face and voice of our practice, managing front desk responsibilities such as answering and directing phone calls, scheduling appointments, checking patients in and out, accepting payments, reviewing balances, verifying insurance information, updating patient demographics, and supporting efficient patient flow and daily office operations. Qualifications & Experience • Professionally trained Medical Assistant with a certificate or diploma from an accredited program, • Experience performing all duties within the scope of a Medical Assistant role, including:, • Injections, EKGs, phlebotomy, lab work, and specimen collection, • Managing physician-authorized prescription refills, • Experience rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and collecting patient histories, • Accurately and timely documenting patient care in the electronic medical record (EMR), • Coordinating patient care as directed by physicians and clinical staff, • Maintaining strict patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times, • Assisting physicians with examinations, including pre- and post-procedure tests as required, • Confirming EMR templates for completeness prior to patient visits, • Organizing and preparing exam and treatment rooms, • Cleaning and sanitizing rooms, medical equipment, and supplies, • Properly sterilizing instruments and disposing of used materials, • Managing incoming and outgoing phone calls and faxes, • Auditing clinical supply levels and managing ordering and replacement as needed, • Managing front desk responsibilities, including:, • Answering and directing phone calls professionally, • Scheduling appointments and managing patient flow, • Checking patients in and out, • Verifying insurance information and updating patient demographics, • Accepting payments and reviewing patient balancesCompany DescriptionWe are a thriving, patient-centered primary care and holistic medicine practice in Dallas, Texas, recognized for excellence in both care and culture.
