Job Description American Capital Realty Group, Inc. is currently seeking a reliable, professional, and motivated Resident Apartment Manager (Individual or Team) to oversee a well-maintained 18-unit apartment community in Buena Park, CA. This part-time position is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about property management, tenant relations, and maintaining a high-quality living environment. The successful candidate(s) will serve as the on-site representative for ownership, responsible for day-to-day operations, resident communication, leasing support, and coordination with the corporate office. This role reports directly to the Corporate Property Management Team. About the Role The Resident Apartment Manager is responsible for the daily operations and oversight of the apartment community. This role requires strong organizational skills, professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities independently. The ideal candidate is proactive, customer-service oriented, and committed to maintaining the property’s appearance, compliance, and resident satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Operations & Administration • Oversee daily operations of the apartment community, • Collect rent and maintain accurate records using the company’s digital accounting system, • Communicate regularly with the Corporate Office and attend monthly meetings in Santa Ana Maintenance & Curb Appeal • Coordinate and supervise vendors, • Perform minor on-site maintenance as needed, • Ensure the property grounds and common areas remain clean, safe, and well-maintained Leasing & Occupancy • Market vacant units and respond to rental inquiries, • Conduct unit showings, • Assist with move-ins and move-outs, including documentation and unit condition reporting Tenant Relations • Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for residents, • Address resident concerns professionally while enforcing property rules and ownership standards Requirements • Experience:, • Prior property management experience preferred, • Backgrounds in Sales, Customer Service, or Business Management are welcome, • Availability:, • Available during standard business hours, • Flexible to respond to emergencies or scheduled appointments as needed, • Technical Skills:, • Basic computer proficiency (email, advertising, digital reporting), • Compliance:, • Strong knowledge of and commitment to Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity laws, • Mobility:, • Valid driver’s license, • Current vehicle insurance for local errands (supplies, office visits, etc.) Compensation & Benefits • Employment Type: Part-time position (no benefits), • Hourly Compensation: Competitive, • Expected Hours:, • Individual Manager: Approximately 120 hours per month, • Manager Team: Approximately 150 hours per month, • Housing Credit: Significant rent reduction for a 2-Bedroom / 1-Bath unit, • Parking:, • Private 1-car garage, • Additional designated manager parking space, • Tools Provided:, • Company-issued smartphone for all work-related communication This individual must conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, Federal, State, and local Fair Housing laws, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and all other laws about property management. “We are an equal opportunity employer.
