It is a fast-paced, fun work environment that is growing in style and amenities. The Club is looking for Full-Time and Part-Time Airport Lounge Cleaners with flexible availability to work weekdays and weekends. Shifts are subject to change, based on business needs. CLEANER JOB DESCRIPTION The description below is designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by team members within this classification. The work of Airport Lounge Cleaner includes: performing full range of cleaning duties and responsibilities in support of Company operations. The duties of an Airport Lounge Cleaner include but are not limited to: Works to ensure clubroom other specified areas are kept in a clean and orderly condition. Sees that clubroom and facilities are cleaned and maintained to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance with sanitation regulations. • Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms including picking up trash, washing dirty dishes, restocking and arranging magazines and newspapers in an orderly fashion, etc., • Restocks bar supplies including; chaffing dishes, crock pots, trays, coffee, cups, glasses, etc. in all service areas and other work areas so that health standards are met., • Cleans dishware and operates dishwasher, • Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and/or draperies, using vacuum cleaners and/or shampooers., • Empties wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas., • Cleans restrooms and disinfects sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, floors, etc. Replenishes bathroom supplies, polishes metalwork including; fixtures and fittings., • Sweeps, mops, vacuums, using brooms, mops and vacuum cleaners. Other floor work may be required such as: scrubbing, waxing and polishing floors., • Cleans breakrooms/kitchens. Disinfects sinks, countertops, tables, chairs, refrigerators, etc., • Replenishes break room supplies., • Dusts furniture, fixtures and equipment, partitions, etc., • Empties wastebaskets and recyclables and transports to disposal area., • Washes walls and woodwork, clean windows, door panels, partitions and window sills, etc., • Helps with deliveries by loading and unloading product., • Carries linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts., • Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the housekeeping / janitorial fields., • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job., • Maintains current city and state approved badges and permits, as applicable Ability to successfully pass airport authority security background check. High school diploma or GED is preferred. Related background in housekeeping or janitorial service. Must be at least 18 or 21 years of age as applicable by law. Must be able to handle multiple tasks and possess verbal communication skills necessary to communicate with customers, passengers, and co-workers. Able to work rotating shifts including weekends (i.e. Friday, Saturday and Sunday), holidays and days off. Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language. Use of personal car is necessary so must have a vehicle that is clean and neat for transport. Mileage re-imbursed. Typical schedule will be 12-5pm Mon, Tues, Thurs, Saturday but some flexibility is needed. Responsibilities • Follow all instructions for care presented on the care plan., • Assist with transferring/moving clients from place to place throughout their home., • Assist clients with daily living activities as directed, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, toileting, feeding, and meal prep., • Engage with clients to provide emotional support and companionship activities., • Help keep the client’s environment clean and organized via light housekeeping, which includes (but is not limited to) vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning the bathroom., • Assist with prescribed range-of-motion exercises., • Remind clients to take self-administered medication., • Provide transportation to and from appointments, trips to social activities and events, or shopping/errands., • Perform administrative functions, such as documentation of completion of care activities, and report any changes in the client's physical condition, mental capability, or behavior to our healthcare team., • Provide open and effective communication with clients, their families, and our healthcare team., • High School Graduate or Equivalent., • Ability to read, write, and follow a written Plan of Care (Bilingual a plus)., • Must be a certified nursing assistant, geriatric nursing assistant, and/or home health aide with proof of certification., • A minimum of one year of full-time experience in direct patient care in an institutional setting (hospital or nursing facility) or one year of full-time experience within the last five years in direct client care in an agency setting., • Possess and maintain a CPR/First Aid certification., • Dementia or Alzheimer's experience a plus., • Work positively and favorably with patients, families, and staff., • Demonstrate integrity and compassion., • Exhibit flexibility and adaptability., • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance., • Listed on the nurse aide registry with no findings against the aide relating to client abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of client property.
