GRO services are grounded in an understanding of the neurological, biological and psychological effects of trauma. GRO services include mental health and wellness, stress management, and community outreach. Position Summary: GRO Moves LLC is seeking a dependable and experienced Full-Time Trainer/Driver to train participants in the fundamentals of trucking while also filling in as a driver when needed. This role will work with 2–4 participants in an afternoon training setting and provide instruction in safe box truck operation, loading and unloading, equipment use, administrative duties, safety, compliance, and professional driver expectations. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, patient, dependable, and passionate about teaching, mentoring, and supporting community-based workforce development initiatives. Key Responsibilities: • Train participants in the fundamentals of trucking and box truck operations., • Teach administrative duties, including delivery paperwork, mileage logs, fuel records,inspection forms, incident reports, route documentation, and customer confirmations., • Provide safety and compliance training, including DOT expectations, company policies,pre-trip and post-trip inspections, cargo securement, accident prevention, and vehicle readiness., • Provide hands-on instruction on how to operate a box truck safely., • Train participants on how to properly pack, organize, load, unload, and secure freight., • Demonstrate proper use of equipment, including dollies, pallet jacks, liftgates, straps,hand trucks, and other loading tools., • Provide coaching, feedback, and support to help participants build confidence, professionalism, and job readiness., • Fill in as a driver when needed to complete routes, deliveries, or operational assignments., • Transport goods and materials safely and on time., • Communicate professionally with dispatchers, clients, participants, customers, and company leadership., • Maintain accurate delivery records, mileage logs, fuel records, vehicle reports, and incident documentation., • High school diploma or GED., • Valid driver’s license required., • Class C or higher required; Class B preferred., • Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience., • Clean safety record., • No DUI, license suspension, or revocation within the past 5 years., • Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screening, background check, and motor vehicle report review., • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs., • Strong communication, leadership, coaching, and problem-solving skills., • Passion for teaching, mentoring, and supporting community-based initiatives., • High school diploma or GED., • Valid driver’s license required., • Class C or higher required; Class B preferred., • Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience., • Clean safety record., • No DUI, license suspension, or revocation within the past 5 years., • Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screening, background check, and motor vehicle report review., • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs., • Strong communication, leadership, coaching, and problem-solving skills., • Passion for teaching, mentoring, and supporting community-based initiatives. $50,000 per year What We Offer: • Competitive salary and benefits package., • A supportive and dynamic work environment committed to social impact.
