Job Description Job Overview The Electrician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all electrical systems and equipment including planned maintenance, installation, and modifications. WHAT WE OFFER • Medical, dental, vision insurance, • 401(k) with company matching, • Exclusive worldwide Hilton employee travel discount program, • Maintain and repair all electrical systems including troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, electrical system installation, and temporary power installations., • Change light bulbs, ballast, and fixtures and troubleshoot circuit problems as needed., • Install wiring and devices., • May be responsible for assisting with the setup, tear down and distribution of temporary power for events held on the property., • Perform safety checks on all electrical devices., • Respond to guest calls and team member work orders in a timely, friendly and efficient manner to resolve complaints, perform electrical repairs or fulfill guest requests., • Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment and shut-offs for buildings., • Maintain an adequate stock of parts and ensure cleanliness in assigned spaces., • Comply with National Electrical Codes., • Comply with OSHA regulations, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), and safety precautions., • Perform other duties as assigned. Qualification, Skills, and Requirements • High School diploma or equivalent preferred., • Electrician certification or equivalent experience required., • Must be able to read engineering drawings and technical literature., • Required to use hands to handle objects, tools, and controls., • Frequently is required to stand, walk, climb, reach, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl., • Requires working from ladders and lifts., • Regularly required to lift and/or move up to one hundred pounds and move or lift up to fifty pounds., • Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Education High school or equivalent education preferred. Physical Requirements Sitting, walking, climbing stairs, standing, crouching, bending, stooping, grasping, pushing, pulling, near vision, far vision, hearing, talking, smell, taste, travel, and lifting may be required. Safety Requirements Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required when performing work duties that may have the potential of risk to your health or safety. The hotel will provide the required PPE. Team members will be trained in the proper use and care of any assigned PPE. It is your responsibility to report defective, damaged or lost PPE, or equipment that does not fit properly, to your manager. Grooming All employees must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance. Specific uniform guidelines and/ or required articles of clothing will be explained to you as part of the orientation process. Schedule The work schedule is based on the demands of the business. AM, PM, nights, overnights, weekends, and/or holiday availability are required. Standard Specification Requirements are representative of minimum levels of knowledge, skills, and/or abilities.
