What you will do in this role This role will be responsible for facilitating the end-to-end supply chain for the Atticus seed treatment business. As the key liaison between internal Atticus, its customers and business partners, this role will plan, direct, and coordinate key supply chain functions, including supply planning, production readiness and execution, product placement, and the entire order to invoice process; all while ensuring supply & demand alignment, strategic and business-related inventory targets are achieved, and the customers experience is best-in-class. This role will report to the Director, Manufacturing. Responsibilities • Execute order process accurately with timely acknowledgment of order receipt, analysis of available-to-promise via current inventory or production metrics, expedited order delivery management, real-time order shipment tracking and status communications and timely customer invoicing; facilitate issue resolution and contingency planning with associated teams in the event of product shortage or change in customer product requirements, • Facilitate logistics with public warehouses and manufacturing sites, which includes coordinating daily shipping needs with logistics provider and managing bill of ladings and shipment releases, • Execute pricing and programs to ensure accurate transactions and proper communication with our customers, • Resolve customer issues by working with appropriate departments to identify root cause and implementation of corrective and preventative actions, including inventory reconciliations, processing of returns, and credit and debit adjustments, • Facilitate the local manufacturing process via building a detailed production schedule that supports supply, inventory, and customer needs, while providing a schedule that is efficient and aligned with internal and contract manufacturer capabilities, • Prepare a rolling 12-month production schedule and the required production orders and send them to manufacturers to secure line time and ensure alignment of priorities; monitors schedule compliance during the campaign and communicate exceptions accordingly, • Facilitate monthly pre-sales & operations planning meeting for assigned products. This includes pre-meetings with commercial counterparts, running/revising planning reports, leading portions of monthly meetings, managing the completion of follow-up action items and publishing updated pre-S&OP reports to key stakeholders, • Create and maintain bill of materials in the ERP system to ensure CSF compliance, accurate costing, and accurate inventory posting, • Conduct production readiness activities, which include reviewing component availability (e.g., end-use products, raw materials, labels, and packaging components); networks with Manufacturing and Procurement groups to ensure all components are staged at the manufacturing site or associated feeder warehouse in advance of production, • Network with Procurement and Regulatory functions to ensure compliance of existing label inventory and new purchase orders; effectively communicate artwork compliance requirements to the contract manufacturer as part of the production packet, • Prepare a weekly inbound report to ensure materials are delivered on time with the correct quantities; any past due/delayed materials are to be investigated and communicated internally and with the contract manufacturer, • Execute movement of components, both physically and in the ERP system, from the feeder warehouse to the manufacturing plant in advance of production, • Prepare production packets for upcoming production campaigns, which include production documents (e.g., manufacturing manual, bill of material, packaging instructions, label revisions and SDSs where necessary), • Work closely with contract manufacturers to ensure accurate and timely production reporting; responsible for posting all such production into the ERP system, • Review toll manufacturing invoices for accuracy (e.g., actual versus planned , and verify agreed pricing); resolve discrepancies as necessary and approve, • Execute end of campaign reconciliation process, which includes an actual consumption versus bill of material consumption review, a reconciliation of bill of material errors, verifying toll fee accuracy, verifying normal waste accuracy, and verifying physical inventories; any discrepancies are reviewed and corrected accordingly, • Ensure inventory is properly dispositioned as a result of end of campaign reconciliation, production of intermediate steps, and the production of off-spec product, which includes transacting in the ERP system, • Execute accurate and timely transactions (e.g., inventory adjustments, goods receipts, goods issues, etc.) to support true available to promise for supply communication and local manufacturing orchestration. This includes daily, monthly, and quarterly inventory and financial reconciliations required for business financial close, including issue resolution, • Develop, implement, and maintain adequate systems and processes to ensure accurate inventories at custom blending manufacturing sites and associated feeder warehouses, inclusive of executing periodic inventory reconciliations and completing all inventory adjustments in a timely manner, while ensuring adjustments are justified and adequately supported for control standards, • Develop and maintain associated records and prepare management reports as required and/or requested, • Drive continuous improvement by seeking customer feedback and actively engaging with commercial and operations to meet both the customers and business needs Required Skills/Qualifications • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in business, supply chain management, or a related field, • 3-5 years of experience across customer service, purchasing, production planning/scheduling, or materials management, • Strong initiative with excellent organization, project management, time management, and prioritization skills, • Ability to work effectively across diverse and cross-functional teams, under critical timelines, while balancing the needs of internal and external customers, • Exceptional customer quality and service orientation, attention to detail, and follow through, • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, • Excellent interpersonal skills and proactive communication skills, • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and ERP systems, • Demonstrates leadership skills in driving change and improving the integrity of applicable processes and systems Why Atticus?
