What You’ll Do as a Highway Project Manager • Lead the planning, design, and delivery of highway transportation projects from scoping through final design and construction support., • Manage scope, schedule, budget, and staffing to ensure successful project execution., • Lead design strategy in collaboration with teams and clients to ensure alignment and seamless delivery., • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, permitting requirements, and quality standards., • Manage risk proactively and maintain strong financial performance., • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, agencies, and stakeholders, • Cultivate and strengthen client relationships to support successful project outcomes and repeat business., • Oversee project billing, client updates, QA/QC of deliverables, and project closeout., • Support proposal development, scope definition, and fee estimates for new and existing clients., • B.S. degree in Civil Engineering, • 7+ years of progressive highway design and transportation project management experience, • Demonstrated experience managing transportation projects from preliminary design through PS&E and construction support., • Professional Engineering License (PE) preferred or ability to obtain it, • Proficiency in MS Office programs and MicroStation (preferred), • Proven success in developing trusted, long-term client relationships, • Demonstrated experience managing NYSDOT highway design projects and federally funded transportation programs., • Dedicated to fostering trusting relationships through collaboration, integrity and respect., • Deliver high-quality work using critical thinking, sound judgment, and exceptional organizational skills., • Proactively own projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, growth environment.
