Position Overview: As a Security Officer for our new Fort Worth magnetics facility, this role establishes standards for front-lobby security and customer service by blending professional hospitality with access control, and situational awareness. The position provides a visible, welcoming presence while supporting office staff, employees and visitors and ensuring safe, controlled entry into the facility. The Security Officer enforces visitor and access control protocols using automated systems, assists guests as needed, monitors CCTV activity, supports emergency preparedness efforts, and escalates incidents appropriately to ensure overall safety and smooth lobby operations. Position Responsibilities: • Serve as the primary point of contact for all front-lobby activity, providing a professional, courteous, and security-focused presence for employees, visitors, and vendors., • Screen and verify visitors and authorized entities prior to granting facility access., • Issue and manage temporary security passes using approved systems, including iLobby, FacilitySO, and Lenel S2 NetBox., • Enforce visitor access protocols and escort requirements to prevent unauthorized entry into restricted areas., • Manage visitor check-in and check-out processes in accordance with established security procedures., • Monitor lobby activity and CCTV systems to identify irregular, unsafe, or suspicious behavior., • Maintain situational awareness of lobby conditions, entrances, and exits always., • Direct vendors and deliveries in accordance with established Shipping & Receiving and site procedures., • Identify, document, and escalate security, safety, or policy concerns to Security Management in a timely manner., • Support emergency response and preparedness actions as directed by Security Management., • Maintain accurate logs, reports, and documentation related to lobby operations and incidents., • Must be at least 21 years of age., • Possession of, or ability to obtain and maintain, a Texas Level II (Non-Commissioned) Security Officer registration/license in accordance with state and regulatory requirements., • Ability to remain calm, professional, and composed in high-visibility or time sensitive situations., • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 12 hours per day., • Ability to climb stairs and navigate multi-level facilities as required., • Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds., • Ability to operate effectively in indoor manufacturing environments and outdoor conditions., • Ability to work in all North Texas weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, Freezing and winds., • Ability to obtain and maintain First Aid / CPR / AED certification (MP can provide the training)., • Strong written and verbal communication skills., • Demonstrated people skills suitable for a professional, front-facing environment., • Fluency in reading, speaking, and writing the English language., • Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn/operate access control, visitor management, and CCTV systems.
