Job Description Hybrid Work Schedule (Office M/Tu/Th; Home W/F) This is not a remote position. Summary: The Systems Manager (SM) oversees the day-to-day IT, systems operations, and data management of the US office and supports The Exodus Road’s global affiliate offices, ensuring that all run efficiently and that all members of the team have what they need to succeed (equipment, efficient recordkeeping, and data systems). The SM primarily manages the IT and Systems processes, including the management of outsourced contractors in those fields. The SM coordinates communication and information flow among and between TER’s key leaders and teams, including international teams, and serves to ensure healthy processes and systems for the most efficient operations of the organization. This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer and will serve as a critical role in the future of the nonprofit. Job Responsibilities: • Oversight and management of the health and forward growth of the Systems/IT functions of the organization., • Overseeing the maintenance and efficacy of the IT needs of the US office staff, including management of systems, equipment, and security., • Management of service and software vendor contracts and associated agreements., • Continuously research new system capabilities, including AI implementation and usage, for improved efficiency and cross-platform integrations., • Serve as the key point person for our Virtuous CRM database management, including running reports, establishing clean data practices, managing related vendors, and consistently improving the usage of Virtuous data throughout the organization., • Lead training initiatives for staff around best practices and developments in the usage of platforms, systems, technology, and current policies., • Work cross-departmentally to improve data quality and database management, including integration of multiple systems., • Develop annual goals and action plans in alignment with TER’s strategic plan., • Serve as a support to all teams in accomplishing their goals more efficiently, effectively, and with a data-driven approach. Job DescriptionDescription: DUTIES Provides skilled speech pathology service on an intermittent basis to consumers in their homes in accordance with the physician's orders RESPONSIBILITIES • Evaluates the consumer's level of functioning and recommends mechanisms to enhance the consumer's hearing ability, • Provides initial and ongoing comprehensive assessments of the consumer’s needs, • Establishes a Speech Therapy treatment plan in consultation with the physician and revises it with the approval of the physician as necessary, • Assists in development and implementation of the interdisciplinary consumer care plan as it pertains to Speech Therapy, • Assures that the physician's orders are appropriate and discusses necessary changes, • Communicates with other team members and, when appropriate, instructs them in speech pathology techniques that they may use while working with the consumer., • Teaches, supervises, and counsels the family and consumer in the total Speech Therapy program and other related problems of the consumer at home, • Evaluates the consumer, his/her significant other(s) and the home situation to determine what instruction will be required, what assistance will be available for the family in caring for the consumer, and what other agency and community services will be required, • Makes arrangements for out-consumer services for procedures which cannot be given in the home, • Records on a timely basis all evaluation data, treatments, and consumer's response to therapy intervention, • Supervises the Home Health per agency policy when Speech Therapy is the only professional discipline involved in the consumer's care, • Records and reports to the physician the consumer's reaction to treatment and /or any changes in the consumer's condition, • Participates in the development of periodic revision of the physician's plan of treatment keeping him/her informed of the consumer's status, and obtaining additional orders if necessary, • Communicates with the physician per agency policy or whenever changes occur regarding the consumer’s status and obtains additional orders, if necessary, • Evaluates the effectiveness of speech pathology intervention and updates the consumer care plan as needed., • Writes clinical/progress notes on the date of the visit and incorporates same in the consumer's record per agency policy, • Assumes responsibility for self-development by continually striving to improve his/her health care knowledge through educational programs, attendance at workshops and conferences, active participation in professional and related organization meetings and individual research and reading, • Confirms, on a weekly basis, the scheduling of visits with the Nursing Supervisor in order to coordinate the consumer’s visit schedule, • Participates in agency activities, case conferences and meetings, when appropriate, • Obtains a medical history, particularly as it relates to the present condition, • Evaluates the consumer, and the home situation to determine what instruction and assistance will be available from the family in caring for the consumer, and what other Agency and community services will be required, • The ability to drive and the ability to access consumers’ homes which may not be routinely wheelchair accessible are required., • Hearing, eyesight and physical dexterity must be sufficient to perform a physical assessment of the consumer's condition and to perform consumer care., • On occasion, may be required to bend, stoop, reach and move consumer weight up to 250 pounds; lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds.
