Overview: The Area Manager of Security is responsible for supporting the overall safety and security operations of Carowinds Amusement Park, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests and associates. This position plays a key leadership role within the Security Department, providing direct oversight of daily operations, supervising security personnel, and ensuring compliance with park policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations. The Area Manager assists in the development and implementation of security plans, emergency response procedures, and loss prevention initiatives, while maintaining strong partnerships with local law enforcement, fire, and emergency management agencies. This role requires a proactive leader who can effectively manage teams in a fast-paced environment, respond calmly under pressure, and uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
