We are seeking a dependable, energetic, and detail-oriented Delivery (Runner)for our home-delivered meals program who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in organization, teamwork, and making a meaningful impact in the community. You will be hands-on in ensuring every delivery is accurate, every load is secure, and every client interaction reflects care and professionalism. Responsibilities Delivery Operations & Support • Assist drivers with the safe, secure, and timely loading and unloading of meals., • Ensure all packed loads are accurate, organized, and ready for transport., • Support drivers during routes by assisting with navigation and resolving delivery challenges., • Verify that correct meals are distributed to each route and delivery stop., • Assist with meal assembly at delivery points as needed., • Perform other responsibilities as needed to support the success of the operation.Food Safety & Quality Control, • Maintain proper temperature and handling of meals during transportation., • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines and protocols., • Ensure food quality standards are upheld from loading to final delivery. Client Service & Care, • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of clients during delivery operations., • Provide professional and courteous face-to-face interactions with clients., • Monitor and report any client needs or concerns appropriately. Safety & Compliance, • Follow all safety procedures, including emergency protocols., • Maintain awareness of surroundings to ensure safe delivery conditions. Warehouse & Vehicle Maintenance, • Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicles, warehouse, and loading dock areas., • Clean racks, dispose of trash, sweep floors, and remove empty boxes regularly., • Ensure all delivery equipment is properly stored and maintained. Communication & Reporting, • Report any discrepancies in delivery paperwork to the Director of Dispatch and Delivery Operations., • High school diploma or equivalent, • Experience in delivery, logistics, or a related field preferred, • Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures, • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, • Highly organized, dependable, and punctual with a strong work ethic Schedule: Full Time, On-Site Base salary: $19.00/hour Benefits: PTO, 401K, Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, Transit, Safe & Sick Time, and FSA (Flexible Spending Account) Must be able to provide valid documentation that you are legally eligible to work in the United States.
