Job Description Industrial Designer We are seeking a Designer to join our team! This individual will be a self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges. *Flexibility and the ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment is key Responsibilities: * Create design solutions for projects focused on retail/consumer experiences by producing eye-catching displays, windows, and graphics * Develop concept (3D samples, renderings) for brand approval, ensuring concepts are properly and consistently aligned with brand standards * Submit rough layouts and renderings for project approval * Prepare orders and quotes, and assemble final technical drawings for production * Prepare graphics for print production Qualifications and Requirements * BS/BA in Architecture, Industrial Design, Interior Design, or a related field * 2+ years of experience as a Designer across a variety of practices in spatial design concentration in visual merchandising, industrial design, interior design, or graphic design * Strong technical and verbal skills with the ability to create impactful/exciting visuals and presentations * Strong graphic sensibility with an understanding of visual elements (layout, type, and fonts) * Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects * Ability to take direction and work self-sufficiently * Creative, solution-oriented, open-minded approach to tasks and challenges * Teamwork skills * High level of proficiency in 3D Software of choice, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign * Previous experience in 3D design or other related fields will be considered if the candidate is new to the workforce and has the ability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced work environment * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite * Previous experience in luxury brands is a plus Department/Group: Production and Design Location: Norwalk, CT Position Type: Full time *Must be flexible with some after-hours requests. .
