Job Description Description JOB SUMMARY: The Production Line Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machines used in the production of high-quality plastic films. You will ensure the efficient operation of the production line, ensuring that all products meet quality standards while maintaining safety and environmental compliance. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Ensure the Roll quality is to specification, layer counts are accurate, and Quality technicians have approved., • Stamp core legibly, and arrows are facing the correct direction on the spindle shaft., • Manually lift rolls from spindles, place them on scale for weighing and stack finished rolls., • Recording of production weights, layer counts, and production problems on the production report., • Ensure that empty gaylord skids are available for change when full gaylords are ready., • General housekeeping and maintenance of your production area., • Monitor production line operation and report interruptions immediately with public address system., • Handle all production rolls with care to not damage the edges or face., • Abide by the Kosher procedures in place., • Other responsibilities as assigned. ESSENTIALS JOB DUTIES: • List the essential job duties that are specific to the position. Operate machines according to production specifics., • Operate machines efficiently to produce high-quality plastic films, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity., • Monitor and adjust machine settings such as speed, to maintain product quality., • Maintain proper stock levels of materials and notify the supervisor when inventory is low., • Continuously monitor film quality during production, inspecting for visual defects., • Report any recurring mechanical problems with the machines., • Other responsibilities as assigned. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
