Job DescriptionCompensation Manager (Contract) We're seeking an experienced Compensation Manager to support an enterprise-wide job description database implementation for a leading MedTech organization. This role is highly project-focused and ideal for a compensation professional with strong job evaluation, market pricing, documentation, and stakeholder-management experience-especially those who thrive in structured, data-heavy, and deadline-driven environments. What You'll Do: • Lead and execute end-to-end project activities for the enterprise job description database initiative, • Coordinate stakeholder inputs, manage project timelines, track deliverables, and escalate risks when needed, • Work closely with HR Business Partners and business leaders to align job content, structure, and organizational needs, • Create, update, and validate job descriptions across all functions, • Ensure every employee has an approved, evaluated, and properly graded job description, • Participate in job evaluation and leveling discussions under guidance from Director Rewards & Senior Compensation Managers, • Conduct job evaluations, benchmarking, survey analysis, and job grading, • Identify compensation impacts resulting from job changes or structural updates, • Populate, maintain, and govern job descriptions within the job database system, • Support approval workflows, signature processes, and stakeholder adoption of the new system, • Develop governance frameworks, process documentation, and process maps for sustainable job description management, • Manage reporting and data integrity across job database and compensation systemsWhat You Bring:, • 8+ years of experience in HR or Finance, including 5+ years of direct compensation experience, • Hands-on experience with job evaluation, job leveling, market pricing, and compensation program management, • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with Excel proficiency (VLOOKUPs, formulas, data analysis), • Experience working with HRIS, LMS, or compensation systems and navigating job code tables, • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead timelines, documentation, and stakeholder communication, • Exceptional written communication and documentation abilities, • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and navigate a project-based environment, • Strong business acumen and ability to interpret job content and market data holistically, • Bachelor's degree or 8 years of directly relevant experiencePreferred:, • Master's degree (6+ years of relevant experience accepted), • CCP, GRP, SHRM-CP, or comparable compensation/HR certifications, • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite-Word (primary), PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio, • Experience with process mapping, org charting, or workflow visualization tools, • Familiarity with learning systems or similar platforms Location: Auburn, MA (Hybrid) Pay: $68-$70/hr.
