Job DescriptionProduction Superintendent - 2nd Shift Manufacturing | On-site (Cudahy WI) Shift: Monday-Friday | 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000 base + 10% shift differential Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, Education reimbursement Relocation Assistance Available Position Overview This role leads a multi-shift production operation with direct responsibility for second-shift performance. You will oversee Production Supervisors and a diverse manufacturing workforce to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. The Production Operations Manager plays a critical role in daily execution while also driving continuous improvement, operational flexibility, and long-term performance. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who thrives in fast-paced manufacturing environments and knows how to align teams around accountability, results, and culture. Key Responsibilities Production & Operational Performance • Lead second-shift production to meet output, yield, and efficiency targets, • Adjust staffing and schedules to align with operational and customer needs, • Identify opportunities to improve productivity, throughput, and cost performance, • Support short- and long-term capacity planning initiatives Leadership & Team Development, • Lead, coach, and develop Production Supervisors and production teams, • Provide clear guidance on plant policies, procedures, and expectations, • Foster strong communication, engagement, and accountability on the production floor, • Lead by example to promote a collaborative, high-performance work environment Safety, Quality & Compliance, • Champion safety and ergonomic programs with a goal of an injury-free workplace, • Train and reinforce safe work practices; proactively address hazards, • Ensure sanitation, product quality, and regulatory compliance standards are met, • Reinforce expectations through regular floor presence and team meetings Training & Continuous Improvement, • Support training initiatives for supervisors and hourly employees, • Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance consistency and efficiency, • Experience leading teams, projects, or production operations, • Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows and performance metrics, • Proficiency with timekeeping systems, ERP platforms (SAP preferred), and Microsoft Office, • Solid knowledge of manufacturing safety, quality, and regulatory standards, • Proven ability to lead in fast-paced, multi-shift environments, • Bilingual skills a plus, • Approachable, collaborative leadership style Questions regarding this position can be addressed by emailing.
