Job Description Position Title: Bartender Department: Operations FLSA Designation: Part Time, Non-Exempt POSITION PURPOSE: As a vital theatre ambassador, the Bartender delivers premium beverage service while navigating the fast-paced demands of a live venue. The role's primary goal is to provide flawless, high-speed service during peak rushes, balancing accuracy and craft to elevate the overall patron experience. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Provide exceptional customer service while preparing drinks and concessions with speed, accuracy, and craft., • Assist with bar setup, stocking, and garnishment prep prior to events., • Efficiently operate the POS system, accurately process payments, and maintain strict cash control and security at all times., • Strictly adhere to all local liquor laws while maintaining a safe, inclusive environment., • Perform end-of-shift duties, including balancing receipts, • Maintain a clean, organized bar area throughout the shift; execute teardown by emptying trash and clearing glassware., • Adhere to the organization’s values at all times and in all interactions with staff, volunteers and members of the public. The employee must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to demonstrate that they can perform the above responsibilities and essential functions to a high level of competency, with or without reasonable accommodation. • Ability to work nights and weekends with occasional weekday afternoons., • Ability to manage and coordinate numerous tasks simultaneously in a busy, high-pressure environment.
