Essential Functions: • Provides direct patient care to patient under direction of the RN and according to the Aide Plan of Care., • Provides necessary skills to assist the patient with safe transfers and ambulation per the Hospice policy., • Provides necessary skill to appropriately report changes and document pertinent information and care rendered to, • patient to ensure continuity of care., • Practices accepted infection control principles. Provide a clean, safe, and comfortable environment., • Promotes positive, supportive, respectful communication to patient/family and other employees., • Provides an environment which promotes respect for patient, privacy, and property., • Provides skills necessary to assist the patient with proper nutrition and adequate fluid intake., • Contributes to the management and efficient operation of the Hospice and demonstrate effective time management skills., • Provides skills necessary to perform treatments and procedures according to the Hospice policy., • Promotes the Hospice philosophy and administrative policies to ensure quality of care.Requirements:, • Current CNA certification in Texas., • Proven experience in hospice or senior care preferred., • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
