American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Cudahy, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: CT Technologist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: 07/13/2026, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 36 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, days, • Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview • Shift: Days, 3x12hrs, • Hours: 36 hrs/wk, • Start Date: Jul 13, 2026, • Length: 13 weeks, • Work in a 100-bed community hospital located in Cudahy, WI, approximately 20 minutes from Milwaukee, • Level IV Trauma facility with a general patient population; no neurosurgery or cardiac cases, • CT department equipped with 2 CT scanners, • Dual modality role covering both CT and Digital X-ray (Diagnostic Radiology), • 1:1 patient ratio, • Uses Epic EMR and McKesson PACS, • Toshiba Canon Aquilion experience preferred; Siemens CT experience also helpful, • Weekend Program: Friday–Sunday, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM (12-hour day shifts, 36 hours/week), • No routine on-call required; urgent situations only, • No floating required, • Holiday rotation expectedRequirements, • Minimum 1 year of CT experience in a hospital setting, • Minimum 1–3 years of Radiology experience in a hospital setting, • Current BLS certification, • ARRT-CT and ARRT (Radiography/X-Ray) certification, • Valid Wisconsin license required if applicable, • Most recent experience must be within the last year, • Ability to competently position patients, select technical factors, and evaluate CT orders using ACR Appropriateness Criteria, • Must be able to provide a professional reference dated within the last year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN, • Candidate's middle name or initial, DOB, and last 4 of SSN required for considerationAdditional Information, • First-time travelers are accepted for this position, • Local candidates are accepted at the same rate with no radius restrictions, • Former employees of Advocate Health or any of its subsidiaries must be separated for at least 12 months before being eligible, • Responsibilities include determining radiographic technique, positioning patients, performing image review, evaluating CT orders for appropriateness, and communicating relevant findings to the Radiologist, • Department support includes imaging assistants, patient transport, a receptionist, RT staff, a hospitalist, and telemetry monitoring, • Orientation consists of NEO plus 2 training shifts, • RTO subject to manager approval, • Any color scrubs are accepted With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
