We are seeking a highly motivated Operations Supervisor ready to make a positive impact on our Warehouse team! Job purpose The TYS Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Nobelus operations at the Knoxville facility as well as third-party locations. This role requires the ability to manage daily warehouse and production activities while also driving short and long-term operational goals and initiatives. The Supervisor must maintain a systematic and organized approach to work, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance across all functions. Strong leadership, integrity and accountability are essential, with responsibility for performance, process improvement, and team development within the warehouse and logistics operations. Duties and responsibilities • Planning and organizing the production, shipping, receiving, and warehouse departments, • Ensure that daily production and shipping schedules are met, and backlog is effectively managed, • Work collaboratively with the Elgin, IL based Production Team, Warehouse, Supply Chain, Scheduler, etc., • Assessing staffing capacity, overtime needs and resource requirements; Managing to budget., • Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met, • Work closely with QC/Compliance to ensure and maintain the highest level of quality and safety, • Managing departmental costs within budgetary requirements, • Warehouse Management for 3rd party warehouse rental space and overall performance and accountability of these locations, • Overall Facilities Maintenance Management, • Manage and optimize production planning and scheduling, • Manage overstock and rework initiatives, • Execution of new Operational process and procedures, • Ensure all operational responsibilities are carried out in an appropriate, effective cost-effective manner, • Demonstrate initiative; Improve the management systems, processes, and employ best practices, • Effective and clear communication within departments as needed, • Perform quality controls and monitor and achieve performance to operational metrics, • Recruit, mentor, train, develop, and supervise staff; Strong ability to provide feedback and motivation, • Ability to drive LEAN and other continuous improvement initiatives and projects, • Any other tasks deemed necessary and appropriate by Manager, • Support and uphold the Nobelus Product Safety Program by following procedures and maintaining a clean, safe work environment to ensure product integrity and customer safety, • Support the Nobelus Mission, Vision and Values within your everyday efforts Schedule: 7am - 4pm (and as business needs demand) Pay: $67,275.00 / year POTENTIAL TO EARN MONTHLY AND QUARTERLY BONUSES!
