SolomonEdwards is looking for a Customer Experience Specialist I for one of its mortgage clients to operate in a call center environment supporting consumer direct lending. You will act as the primary consumer contact to guide a consumer through the loan origination process after the licensed discussion with a loan officer. The main responsibilities of this position are: • Operate in-person in a Call Center environment as a customer success advocate, • Answer high-volume, inbound calls or texts from current customers in a timely manner, • Perform routine data entry and validation tasks, • Handle routine calls, emails and/or chat responses with internal employees, consumers and/or authorized 3rd parties, • Interact with multiple departments to expedite processing and/or issue resolution, • Perform other related duties as required and assigned, • Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values The ideal candidate will possess: • Mortgage and/or financial services call center experience, • Bilingual Spanish is a plus, • General understanding of applicable Federal, State and Local mortgage regulations a plus, • Capable communicator, written and oral, • Strong negotiation skills with ability to effectively resolve problems, • Demonstrated proficiency with computers and mainstream computer applications (Microsoft, Google, etc.) What does this role offer: • A pay rate of $23/hr. + 1.5x pay over 40 hours, • You will be offered the opportunity to convert at 800 worked hours (~5.5 months), at which point you are eligible for their quarterly bonus program of up to $2,500 ($10,000 annually), • Full medical, dental, and vision plans offered, as well as short-and-long-term disabilities, life & accidental insurance plans, FSA, accident, hospital, and critical illness plans, • 401(K) with company match, • Holiday and sick days, • Additional service bonus, • Referral bonus, • The chance to work for an Established Nationwide Industry Leader and Dedicated Mortgage Lender that is publicly traded and has a track record of performance., • Career Growth within the company with learning development and structure upward mobility paths., • Business Resource Groups to support career growth and networking for several affinity groups including weEMRG (Women), HOLA (Hispanic), SERVE (Military), PRIDE (LGBTQ+), BOLD (Black/African American), Asian American & Pacific Islander Mission and Vision We are a superior consulting firm focused on helping clients achieve their dreams and address complex situations with inspired people, deep expertise, and innovative technologies. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
