For more information, visit POSITION OVERVIEW: Syner-G is seeking a Senior Facilities Engineer with strong experience in utility infrastructure, building management systems (BMS), and reliability engineering. This role supports the day-to-day operations of building and plant systems—including labs, manufacturing environments, and critical utilities—as well as small-scale technical projects. The ideal candidate will ensure operational reliability, regulatory compliance, and rapid response to facility needs, while collaborating cross-functionally to maintain a safe, efficient, and compliant environment. WORK LOCATION: Travel to client sites may be required up to 100%, depending on project demands and client expectations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: (This list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented or changed as necessary.) • Support and oversee daily operations of utility systems, including HVAC, clean utilities, compressed gases, and process air., • Manage and optimize Building Management Systems (BMS) and other facility automation platforms., • Lead or support small technical projects, including upgrades, retrofits, and system reliability improvements., • Coordinate and supervise external vendors for routine and corrective maintenance activities., • Perform and document preventive and predictive maintenance tasks in accordance with SOPs and regulatory standards., • Conduct routine inspections of facility infrastructure and utilities to identify and mitigate potential issues., • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mechanical, electrical, and control systems., • Maintain accurate records of maintenance, inspections, and repairs to support audits and compliance., • Respond to alarms and emergencies, including utility failures and equipment malfunctions., • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and R&D teams to ensure facility readiness and support operational goals., • Apply reliability engineering principles to improve system uptime and reduce unplanned downtime. Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Facilities, or related Engineering discipline. Technical Experience: • 3–10 years of experience in Facilities or Reliability Engineering, preferably in a GMP-regulated environment., • Strong background in utility infrastructure (e.g., HVAC, boilers, chillers, compressed air, clean steam)., • Hands-on experience with BMS platforms and facility automation systems., • Familiarity with CAPEX projects and small-scale technical upgrades., • Experience with GMP cleanrooms, lab environments, and manufacturing support systems., • Strong knowledge of reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) and root cause analysis (RCA)., • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)., • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills., • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. The expected salary range for this position is $107,000 to $130,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
