Job Description An Associate Attorney with 3+ years' personal injury experience is needed for a hybrid position in Austin. The Associate Attorney will represent clients in personal injury cases, handling matters from intake through settlement or trial. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of successfully managing personal injury cases, excellent communication skills, and courtroom experience. Associate Attorney Responsibilities: • Manage a diverse caseload of personal injury matters, including auto accidents, premises liability, and wrongful death cases., • Conduct thorough investigations and legal research to develop case strategies., • Draft and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents., • Represent clients in all stages of litigation, including depositions, motion hearings, mediations, and trials., • Engage in settlement negotiations and pursue favorable outcomes for clients., • Provide strategic legal advice to clients regarding their case, including assessing liability, damages, and potential outcomes., • Collaborate with senior attorneys, paralegals, and experts to prepare for trial and other case milestones., • Maintain and update case files, ensuring accuracy and accessibility., • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school., • Admission to the Texas State Bar. Additional admission in AZ and/or NM is a plus., • 3+ years of professional experience in personal injury litigation., • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills., • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and meet deadlines effectively., • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational abilities., • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach., • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team., • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
