What you’ll be doing: This executive role requires a visionary leader with deep expertise in the security industry, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will oversee business development, manage key client relationships, and provide strategic direction to the sales team while collaborating with cross-functional leaders to align sales initiatives with organizational goals. This person will have direct oversight of NextGen’s Houston, Midland, Dallas, and Austin offices. Some overnight and out of town travel will be required. Leadership and Strategy: • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive growth and expand market share, identifying the strengths of each region., • Lead and mentor high-performing teams through upper management resources, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence., • Establish and maintain relationships with key clients, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnerships., • Oversee needed escalations for project estimates, proposals, and contract negotiations through General Managers and Vice-Presidents., • Monitor sales performance metrics and present regular updates to executive leadership., • Work with Vice-Presidents and General Managers on overall regional financial performance, identifying areas of improvement and instituting change as needed., • Oversee head count and departmental growth in relation to fiscal year budget., • Lead budget exercises for West division in conjunction with finance, HR, and executive teams., • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings., • Travel overnight or out of town to provide consistent in-person presence for executive guidance, support, customer needs, and mentorship.
