Job Description We’re seeking a high-caliber Center Director to lead day-to-day operations, team management, instructional quality, and measurable enrollment growth at our academic enrichment center. This is a leadership role that blends operational oversight, academic supervision, relationship management, and business performance. The Center Director is the on-site leader responsible for: • Driving enrollment growth, • Ensuring instructional excellence, • Managing team performance, • Maintaining operational discipline, • Delivering an exceptional family experience While this position includes 8–10 hours per week of teaching Math or Science, the majority of time is focused on leadership, management, and overall center performance. Core Responsibilities: 1. Leadership & Operations (Primary Focus) • Oversee daily center operations, student scheduling, and staff coverage, • Lead instructors, teaching assistants, and administrative staff, • Ensure programs run on time and deliver consistently high quality, • Maintain compliance with company policies and California regulations, • Track key operational and financial performance metrics, • Implement systems to improve efficiency and student outcomes 2. Enrollment & Growth • Own enrollment and retention targets for the center, • Conduct consultations with prospective families, • Manage the conversion pipeline, follow-ups, and enrollment workflow, • Monitor enrollment metrics and execute growth strategies, • Support local outreach and community engagement efforts 3. Relationship Management (Families) • Serve as the primary relationship lead for families, • Conduct structured progress conversations and check-ins, • Address concerns proactively and professionally, • Maintain high satisfaction and retention standards 4. Instructional Oversight • Teach 8–10 hours/week in Math or Science, • Maintain high academic and classroom standards, • Mentor instructors and provide coaching/performance feedback, • Ensure curriculum delivery aligns with organizational expectations Qualifications Required: • Bachelor’s degree, • 5+ years of leadership or management experience, • Strong organizational, execution, and people-management skills, • Data-driven and structured decision maker, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred: • Degree in BBA, Engineering, Mathematics, or Science, • MBA strongly preferred, • Experience in education, enrichment programs, tutoring centers, or academic operations, • Demonstrated ability to manage teams and drive measurable growth Compensation & Benefits • $80,000 to $100,000 annual base salary, • Full-time, Exempt, • Paid semi-monthly Annual Performance Bonus (Target: up to $30,000) Eligible for a discretionary performance-based year-end bonus of up to $30,000, based on: • Enrollment growth, • Retention rates, • Center profitability, • Operational performance, • Overall leadership effectiveness Bonus is discretionary and contingent upon individual performance, center performance, and active employment at time of payout. Growth-Based Incentive Opportunity • Additional performance bonuses may be available for exceeding enrollment and revenue growth benchmarks (outlined in the annual incentive plan)., • Retirement Contribution (Beginning Year 2), • After completion of year one, the company will provide an annual retirement contribution of approximately $10,000 beginning in year two, subject to plan terms, eligibility requirements, continued employment, and company performance.
