Job DescriptionBenefits: • 401(k) matching, • Bonus based on performance, • Competitive salary, • Opportunity for advancement, • Paid time off, • Signing bonus Key Responsibilities • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Actively seek out and generate new business opportunities through various methods (e.g., networking, referrals, cold calling, community involvement) along with new prospects generated from our marketing/branding, internet lead providers and looking for opportunities within the existing customer base., • Customer Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough reviews to understand potential clients' insurance needs and financial goals (Auto, Home, Life, Health, Retirement, etc.)., • Educating Clients: Clearly and concisely educate customers on their existing coverage, potential gaps, and the value of comprehensive insurance solutions., • Solution Development: Recommend appropriate State Farm products and services to fill those gaps, ensuring clients are properly protected., • Sales & Closing: Effectively present proposals, handle objections, and close sales to meet agency production goals., • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Agency Owner and team members to achieve overall agency objectives. Qualifications We're Looking For • Licensing: Must obtain a Property & Casualty (P&C) license and a Life & Health (L&H) producer license in Ohio within a specified timeframe (prior licensing is a significant advantage). We will guide the right candidate through the licensing process. (Securities Registrations such as the SIE, Series 6, Series 63, Series 65, or a ChFC designation are not required but allow you to service customers in more ways.), • Experience: Previous experience in sales, customer service, or a goal-oriented environment is highly preferred. Organization and attention to details is a must!, • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to build rapport quickly and deliver complex information clearly., • Self-Motivated & Driven: Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain a high level of enthusiasm and initiative., • Ethical Standards: A strong commitment to integrity, honesty, and professional ethics. Always putting customer needs first!, • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required., • Must pass Federal & State Background Check, • Location: Must be able to work full-time and in-person at our agency office in Toledo, Ohio 43613, • Hours: Monday-Friday 8:45am - 5:00pm Ready to start a career where you can truly make a difference?
