Job DescriptionDescription: Job Summary: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of nine 5,000-square-foot medical office facilities. This role ensures that all buildings, equipment, and systems are functioning optimally to support a clean, safe, and efficient environment for staff and patients. The ideal candidate has experience in facility maintenance, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities: • Facility Maintenance:, • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems., • Ensure proper functioning of lighting, safety alarms, and emergency systems., • Troubleshoot and repair minor issues with building infrastructure, including doors, windows, walls, ceilings, and flooring., • Equipment Maintenance:, • Maintain and repair medical office equipment (e.g., exam tables, sterilizers, fixtures)., • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards for medical facility equipment., • General Repairs:, • Respond to maintenance requests for repairs such as patching walls, painting, and replacing fixtures., • Manage small construction projects, installations, or furniture assembly as needed., • Safety and Compliance:, • Monitor and maintain compliance with OSHA, ADA, and other relevant safety regulations., • Conduct safety inspections and address hazards promptly., • Inventory Management:, • Track and manage inventory of tools, parts, and supplies. o Drive between the nine medical office locations to perform maintenance tasks and inspections. • Emergency Response:, • Respond promptly to urgent issues such as leaks, power outages, or system failures., • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or technical certifications preferred., • Experience preferred but not required., • Minimum of 3 years of experience in building maintenance, preferably in a healthcare or medical office environment., • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems., • Basic carpentry and painting skills., • Familiarity with safety regulations and building codes., • Proficient in troubleshooting and diagnostic tools., • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints., • Strong organizational and time-management skills., • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities., • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity., • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record., • Travel between the nine medical office locations as needed (company vehicle will be provided)., • Indoor and outdoor work in various weather conditions., • Competitive salary based on experience., • Health, dental, and vision insurance., • Paid time off and holidays., • Retirement plan options., • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or technical certifications preferred., • Experience preferred but not required., • Minimum of 3 years of experience in building maintenance, preferably in a healthcare or medical office environment., • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems., • Basic carpentry and painting skills., • Familiarity with safety regulations and building codes., • Proficient in troubleshooting and diagnostic tools., • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints., • Strong organizational and time-management skills., • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities., • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity., • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record., • Travel between the nine medical office locations as needed (company vehicle will be provided)., • Indoor and outdoor work in various weather conditions., • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
