Position Overview The Executive Internship at Emerson and Friends is a competitive, high-impact opportunity designed for advanced undergraduate students, graduate students, or recent graduates seeking to bridge the gap between academic achievement and practical leadership experience. Participants will work alongside senior executives and department leads on strategically aligned projects in areas such as technology, marketing, finance, business operations, and administration. Interns will receive mentorship, networking opportunities, and exposure to executive-level decision-making and strategic planning. Key Responsibilities • Manage and coordinate calendars, meetings, and appointments, • Assist with preparation of executive presentations, reports, and communications, • Attend executive meetings (as appropriate); take minutes and track follow-ups, • Support cross-functional collaboration and coordination between departments, • Plan in office meetings and office events, • Prepare meeting agendas, take detailed minutes, and track action items, • Assist in drafting internal communications, reports, and presentation materials, • Conduct research and compile briefing materials for meetings and events, and analysis to support strategic decision-making, • Organize travel logistics, scheduling, special projects and itineraries as needed, • Maintain filing systems, contact lists, and other executive support tools, • Ensure confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion in all interactions, • Support special projects and initiatives led by executive leadership Qualifications • Currently pursuing or recently finished a Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations, Fashion/Retail Management, or related field., • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, • High attention to detail and time management, • Proficiency in Google Workspace, • Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills, • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion Preferred Qualifications • Previous internship or office administration experience, • Familiarity with virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.), as well as Google Office Suite., • Interest in executive leadership, business operations, or administrative careers, • Experience with project management or task-tracking tools (e.g., Asana, Notion, Monday) What You’ll Gain • Mentorship and exposure to executive-level decision-making, • Hands-on experience with organizational leadership and coordination, • Professional development, networking opportunities, and a potential path to future employment, • Improved skills in communication, scheduling, and cross-functional collaboration How to Apply Please submit your resume and a brief personal statement outlining your interest in the Executive Assistant Intern role to .
