Your challenge Could you build a rock-solid pallet pattern for mixed loads, verify inbound parts to the last piece, and turn around a truck on time—all in a physically demanding, non-climate-controlled setting? Impact you’ll make • Handle, move, and store both hazardous and non-hazardous materials safely and efficiently., • Receive products, validate counts and condition, and protect the integrity of incoming/outgoing goods., • Build skids; palletize boxes and bags into stable, space-optimized configurations for logistics., • Unload and load semi-trucks; stage materials for production and shipping., • Stock inventory, choose storage locations, and maximize warehouse space., • Prepare packaging and support cross-functional warehouse tasks as needed., • Maintain inventory accuracy and support continuous improvement., • Operate or be willing to operate a scissor lift; perform other duties as assigned. What you need to succeed, • High school diploma or GED., • 2 years of material handling or material management experience., • Comfort working in very tight confined spaces (e.g., inside a small tank with entrance/exit through an 18-inch manway or by climbing over the side via ladder). Preferred, • Forklift certification. Strengths we value, • Shipping/Receiving, • Warehouse Experience, • Material Handler Experience, • Loading and Unloading Vehicles, • Mechanical Assembly Skills, • High School / GED, • Excellent Communication Skills Equipment you'll use, • Palletizer, • Forklifts Production Environment: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 40 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Incumbents may be subjected to moving mechanical parts, electrical currents, vibrations, fumes, odors, dusts, gases, poor ventilation, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting, workspace restrictions, intense noises, and travel. • Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently and larger weights with proper equipment. This job is located in an un air-conditioned warehouse., • Concentrated mental and/or visual attention. The work involves performing complex tasks to very close accuracy and quality specifications, or a high degree of hand and eye coordination for sustained periods.
