Job DescriptionDescription: The Production / Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing daily production and warehouse operations to ensure safety, quality, productivity, inventory accuracy, and on-time delivery. This role leads production and warehouse team members, coordinates operational activities, manages inventory and material flow, and drives continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work environment. Responsibilities • Lead, supervise, and develop production and warehouse employees., • Promote and enforce company safety policies and procedures., • Provide employee coaching, training, performance management, and support hiring activities., • Coordinate daily production schedules to meet customer demand and delivery requirements., • Monitor productivity, downtime, scrap, and other operational performance metrics., • Manage inventory accuracy and material flow throughout the facility., • Oversee shipping, receiving, loading, and unloading activities., • Maintain organization and housekeeping standards in warehouse and production areas., • Monitor product quality and implement corrective actions when necessary., • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and OSHA requirements., • Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste., • Coordinate with maintenance personnel to minimize equipment downtime. Requirements:, • 3–5 years of leadership experience in a production, manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment required., • Experience within the building products industry preferred., • Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered., • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word., • Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills., • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment., • Ability to analyze operational data and make informed decisions., • Ability to occasionally lift and move materials weighing 25–60 pounds.
