We’re looking for an energetic, detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support our attorneys in a collaborative, down-to-earth environment. What you will do. • Manage attorney calendars, including scheduling meetings, depositions, mediations, and trials, • Prepare, draft, edit, and format legal documents and correspondence in accordance with firm standards, • Transcribe dictation and proofread documents with accuracy and attention to detail, • Organize and prepare files, exhibits, and materials for depositions, mediations, and trial proceedings, • Maintain case files and assist in tracking case progress using case management software, • Coordinate communications with clients, courts, and opposing counsel in a professional and timely manner, • Prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines, • Assist attorneys with other administrative duties as needed to support client service and case management Experience: • Minimum of 1–3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant (required), • Civil litigation experience (required), • Construction defect experience (required), • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Outlook, Excel required), • Experience with case management software (required), • Experience with Caret (highly preferred), • Ability to work independently, apply critical thinking skills, and exercise sound judgment, • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects, • Exceptional attention to detail, • Demonstrates integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism, • Energetic, eager to learn, and able to adapt to changing priorities, • Collaborative team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic, • Associate’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered We value our people and continually look for ways to support our staff because they are foundational to our firm.
