Job DescriptionJob Summary We are seeking a Staff Accountant with strong data analysis skills to join our accounting team. This hybrid role involves managing Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions while leveraging analytical insights to improve efficiency and decision-making. You'll work closely with the Accounting Manager to ensure accurate financial reporting, process improvements, and strong internal controls. Key Responsibilities • Accounts Receivable (AR): Handle invoicing, collections, reconciliations, and monitor overdue accounts., • Accounts Payable (AP): Process vendor invoices, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely payments., • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze financial data, assist with ERP system improvements, and prepare internal reports.Qualifications, • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field., • 2+ years of experience in AR and AP., • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel., • Solid understanding of accounting principles., • Excellent organizational and communication skills.If you're passionate about accounting and data, and thrive in a collaborative environment, we'd love to hear from you. Job Description Fast growing company based in Mount Vernon that manufactures and imports medical products. We are currently in the process of hiring a person with an administrative assistant and data entry background. This position is ideal for someone with an excellent work ethic, strong computer skills and an outgoing personality who can work independently with minimal oversight. Duties & Responsibilities • Main responsibilities include assisting the invoicing and logistics departments in invoicing orders, entering data and other related tasks., • Generate and process invoices from shipped orders and send them to the customers., • Provide general support to the invoice department and account receivable department., • Generate and process sales orders from customer purchase orders and send confirmations to the customers., • Clerical duties such as filing, scanning and general office duties. Experience/Requirements • Minimum 2 years of office work, • Skilled in Microsoft Excel, • Data entry experience, • Stable work history, • Excellent spoken English is a must, • Reliability and dependability a must, • Proficient in Microsoft Office is a must (word, excel, outlook), proficiency in NetSuite would be a plus., • Previous experience in office or administrative setting preferred, • Excellent skills in all areas of communication (writing, reading and speaking)., • Highly motivated, organized individual who possesses attention to detail.
