Job Description Location: Fully Remote (with occasional in-person collaboration in Los Angeles and Orange County). Reports To: Founder Principal Attorney, Nina Ameri Base Salary & Profit Sharing: $110,000–$130,000 (commensurate with experience), plus profit-sharing and discretionary bonuses. Ideal Candidate Profile • Prior entertainment law firm experience with billable hours or in-house legal experience at a studio or streamer., • Long-term career mindset., • Comfortable working on a small, collaborative, fully remote team. Billable Hour Requirement: Annual Minimum: 1,200 hours Paid Holidays: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day After Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve. Compensation: $110,000 - $130,000 yearly Responsibilities: • Exposure to all aspects of entertainment law with an emphasis on film, television, and new media. Duties Include:, • Production Legal for Film, Television, and New Media projects, • Drafting and negotiating, • Shopping and option agreements, • Collaboration and attachment agreements, • Co-production agreements, • Production contracts and releases (talent, participant, guest appearances, sync licenses, vendor agreements), • Content licenses, • Sales and distribution agreements, • Production services agreements, • Life rights agreements, • Digital media influencer and brand agreements, • Clearing and filing trademarks and copyrights, • Cease and desist letters, • Demand letters, • Music licensing, • Book publishing agreements, • Formation of single-purpose entities for independent films, • Formation of loan-out corporations, • Experience: 3+ years (ideally 4–5) as an entertainment attorney at an entertainment law firm, network, studio, distributor, or production company, • Skills: Strong issue-spotting instincts and negotiation skills; ability to draft agreements with precision and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
