Job Description Our firm is growing, and we’re looking for an empathic, experienced Personal Injury attorney to help clients pursue justice and secure fair compensation for their injuries. In this role, you will manage both pre-litigation and litigation matters, supported by a team of highly skilled legal professionals. Compensation: $125,000 - $150,000 per year commensurate with experience Responsibilities: • Manage a team of personal injury paralegals, legal assistants, case managers, litigation paralegals, and legal secretary, • Review, modify, and draft motions, discovery responses, demand letters, pleadings, claims, subpoenas, memorandums, and other legal documents, • Converse with clients, expert witnesses, supporting witnesses, insurance company adjusters, and medical providers to gather information, • Appear as legal counsel on the clients’ behalf at mediations, trials, hearings, depositions, and litigation, • Gather insurance policies, medical expenses, medical records, and other evidence relevant to the case and conduct legal research on case law and premises liability, • Manage a personal injury caseload from intake through settlement or trial, • Develop and execute case strategies designed to maximize client recovery, • Regularly consult with clients, adjusters, experts, and other parties as needed to effectively move cases forward to settlement, • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement demands, • Conduct depositions, mediations, and court appearances (virtual and in-person), • Argue motions and represent clients at hearings, mediations, and court appearances, • Analyze case-specific legal issues and documentation (e.g., insurance policies, lien language, settlement releases), • Maintain consistent, proactive communication with clients, • Knowledge of personal injury law/ tort law, medical terminology, wrongful death, civil and family law, and medical malpractice is vital, • Excellent negotiation, drafting, research, and communication skills are desired, • A bachelor’s degree and a J.D. degree is required, • 3 years of experience in personal injury litigation or trial experience in medical malpractice, personal injury, wrongful death, or civil litigation practice areas is needed, • Must be computer proficient, • Licensed to practice law in Colorado and in good standing with the Colorado Bar Association, • 3-5 years of experience representing clients in a law firm, • Prior litigation experience (personal injury preferred), • Trial experience is a plus, • Medical Malpractice experience is a plus, • Strong motion practice, research, and writing skills, • Experience taking or defending depositions preferred Why Join Us?
