As a Legal Assistant - Litigation, Corporate and Estate & Trust Practice, you will provide high-level administrative and legal support to attorneys across litigation, corporate, and estate planning matters, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and seamless case management while contributing to a collaborative, service-driven legal team. To thrive, you should have: • Associate degree or higher in legal studies, paralegal studies, or a related field, or equivalent professional legal assistant experience, • 2+ years of experience supporting litigation, and estate planning attorneys within a law firm or legal services environment, • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, legal document management systems, e-filing platforms, and legal terminology related to litigation, corporate law, and wills, trusts, and estates, • Authorization to work in the U.S. with fluency in English and ability to communicate clearly with courts, clients, and legal professionals; local travel to courts or offices as needed Your responsibilities as the Legal Assistant will include: • Prepare, revise, proofread, and finalize litigation pleadings, corporate filings, estate planning documents, and probate submissions in compliance with state and federal court requirements, • File legal documents electronically with state and federal courts, manage corporate filings, and interact with county probate courts to ensure timely and accurate submissions, • Maintain attorney calendars, docket court deadlines, and coordinate scheduling for hearings, client meetings, depositions, and internal case milestones, • Support estate and trust administration by tracking probate deadlines, managing court-required filings, and maintaining organized electronic case files, • Communicate professionally with clients, courts, fiduciaries, financial institutions, and internal stakeholders while safeguarding confidential legal information Ready to Apply?
