Job Description ~~T & A Performance LLC is seeking experienced Diesel Mechanics in Sparks, NV! Will help with relocation for the right person! Essential Functions Vehicle inspections and diagnostic tests; identifying worn and damaged parts. Complete preventive maintenance Repair vehicle by, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics; completes machine shop operations; making adjustments and alignments including bearing loads, gear tooth contact, valve mechanisms, governors, oil systems, control linkages, clutches, and traction units. Verify vehicle performance by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems. Take ownership for work completed. Join us in making a difference in the early detection of hearing loss in newborns as a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician! As a newborn hearing screen technician, you will provide hearing screens in the hospital after a baby is born. You will work on-site at one or more hospital locations to screen newborns for hearing loss. At Pediatrix, you will receive on-the-job training. This includes annual certification accredited by the American Academy of Audiology. By offering this certification, we strive to ensure our employees are adept in improving early detection of hearing impairments and encouraging timely intervention. Renown Medical Center On a typical day, you will conduct newborn hearing screens, usually in a new mom's hospital room, and help educate parents about the importance of the screen using video and printed tools we provide. You will also be in charge of entering patient data and validation of hearing screens, as needed. Job Description Job Title Test Stand Assembly Technician (Portable & Custom Units) Company Overview Engineered Test Systems (ETS), a Barbee Company, is a trusted partner in high-quality test stands and equipment for many different industries and most prominently the oil and gas industry. We specialize in providing precision-engineered solutions that are designed to meet the demanding needs of engineers working in very niche applications. Job Summary The Test Stand Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling Portable Test Units and supporting the fabrication and assembly of Custom Test Stands as required. This role requires hands-on mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with a variety of tools and equipment. Candidates with experience in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or plumbing-related fields are preferred. Essential Functions The following duties are representative of the essential functions of this position. Other duties may be assigned as business needs require. • Assemble Portable Test Stand units using tube benders, swage tools, and various hand and power tools., • Support Custom Test Stand fabrication and assembly projects as assigned., • Operate hand and power tools, including but not limited to wrenches, grinders, sanders, skill saws, drills, and drill presses., • Assist in the construction of shipping crates and packaging for large Test Stand orders., • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment; support general warehouse organization and maintenance as needed., • Perform material pickup, delivery, and internal material movement as required., • Follow established safety procedures, quality standards, work instructions, drawings, and company policies., • Accurately complete assigned work to meet production schedules, quality requirements, and customer expectations. This position is performed primarily in a manufacturing and warehouse environment. The work environment may include exposure to loud noise levels, moving mechanical parts, and active forklift and material-handling equipment. Employees may be required to work in proximity to other production activities and heavy equipment. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required, including but not limited to safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toe footwear, hearing protection, gloves, and other job-specific safety gear. (You will typically work 45-50 hours a week while an apprentice and qualify for overtime for hours over 40 in a week.) * Once you complete training, you will receive a $1,000 bonus, and graduate to a junior maintenance technician.
